- We spied a 2021 Ford Bronco two-door mobbing through the snow and getting some air.
- It’s camouflaged, but we can see that it’ll look exactly like the four-door version, juts with two less doors.
- We expect that the 2021 Bronco will make its actual debut at the 2020 Detroit auto show in June.
From the latest spy photos showing the two-door Ford Bronco, it seems like Ford took full advantage of a recent snowfall to tout its new two-door off-roader’s capability. The interesting part? It’s the first time we’ve seen the two-door version of the upcoming SUV.
Ford has basically just been dangling its new Bronco in front of our face for some time now. We say this because we’ve seen so many spy photos of it. It’s kind of like eating a Popeyes chicken sandwich for lunch every day. Yeah, it’s good at first, but wouldn’t you get sick of it? Like its primary competitor, the Jeep Wrangler, the new Bronco will be a body-on-frame, two- or four-door SUV with some serious off-road chops. Oh, and a removable roof and doors.
Sick of the Bronco Yet?

We feel like a broken record. The base engine will likely be the turbocharged 2.3-liter inline-four with a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 being an option. All that will be backed by Ford and GM’s co-developed 10-speed automatic. There could also be a hybrid powertrain in the works, as well as a glorious manual-transmission option.
As for when we’ll actually see the damned thing, that’ll probably be at the 2020 Detroit auto show in the beginning of June. Yes, Ford announced that it’ll debut in spring 2020, but don’t forget: spring ends on June 20.
